Was It Bad For You?

Under the new monarchy, both Princess Laazia of Risa and Princess Amanda of Hyrule hope to help rebuild Shaldani.  To that end, each sends a small army of workers to assist.  Laazia sends a column of soldiers, led by Juliette, to help repave and restructure the roads and buildings of Shaldani.  Meanwhile, Princess Amanda sends magicians and missionaries, led by the tempramental Sister Jana Pavlova, to heal the natural landscape, planting trees and growing gardens.  Not wanting to be left out, Noonien Kaur, chancellor of Pyrnne, sends what he considers to be the finest gift of all:  Himself.

A time of peace brings about an unexpected strain on the relationship between Tranns and Lucien.  While Lucien is content, serving as advisor to the new queen by day and a father to Star and Rommie by night, Tranns grows restless.  Despite multiple conversations with Lucien, Ana, and Aden, nothing can bring Tranns any peace of mind.  She decides, therefore, to fulfil an old promise.  Now that she is no longer fighting, she elects to go to Hyrule over the New Year and become a Hylian missionary.  Rather than bringing peace, however, this decision leads to several heated arguements between Tranns and Lucien.

Things are made worse by Noonien's presence in the House.  Besides being overbearing, manipulative, and rude, he develops a keen interest in examining the eugenics of the Phoenix Fighters.  Disappointed to learn that Philip is married to an Andorian, and therefore incapable of reproduction, he turns his attention on Lucien and, much to poor Lucien's dismay, becomes increasingly interested in him as he observes Star's unique and extraordinary powers.

To garner favor in the House, Noonien invites all of the male Phoenix Fighters to a smoking party.  There he once again demonstrates his obsession with eugenics, with the ultimate end goal of creating a "superior" race with the best genes nature has to offer.  Aden, Philip, and Tristan are all quite indignant to his ramblings while Lucien remains calmly detached.  This leads the conversation once more to Star, at which point, Noonien learns the identity of her mother, Tranns.  Mistakenly assuming that Tranns and Lucien are her biological parents, Noonien lays a trap down in the hopes of getting more such "extraordinary" entities.  He gives Lucien a cigar, the tobacco of which is laced with magically enhanced aprhodisiacs.

When Lucien lights the cigar the next night, a spell overtakes both him and Tranns, leaving them quite unable to control their libedos.  While they go at it, however, plants begin to grow wild in the Phoenix House.  Trapped on the second floor, Aden and Adriana fight their way through the killer foliage to the library, where they realize what's causing the trouble.  They fight their way to Tranns and Lucien's bedroom and, after much bloodshed, manage to get the door open and break the spell.  Aislinn is informed of the trickery and Noonien is banished.  Tranns, meanwhile, agrees to stay in Hyrule and take on the mantel of missionary among the Hylians sent by Princess Amanda.
