No One is Alone Part One

A distraught Lex visits Casey one night to inform her that she's received a letter from her Uncle Sullivan, who abused her as a child.  He's on his way to the House for a visit.  Casey promises that he won't be allowed in under her watch, but Lex is doubtful.  The next morning, Adriana informs Aden that she's received a letter from Kit, asking the two of them, along with Philip, to visit Sybok.  As he's preparing to leave, she also informs him that Kazuo tried to kiss her, leading Aden into a violent shouting match.  As he confronts Kazuo, who's denies doing anything, Adriana talks with Tranns, telling her it was Lucien who came onto her.

Philip, Adriana, and Aden arrive in Sybok where they are greeted warmly by Kit.  Aden and Adriana keep snapping at each other, however, finally leading Aden to storm out.  Concerned for his safety, Philip follows.  Kit asks Adriana what brings the command crew to the Tin Roof and Adriana replies that Aden received a letter.  Kit denies ever having asked them to come.  Outside of the Tin Roof, Aden tells Philip about the Kazuo incident.  Philip empathize and the two of them discuss the difficulties of love.  Screams interrupt the peace, however.

Aden and Philip rush up the stairs and find the door to Hekuba's room open.  Kit is standing in the doorway, staring at the dead body of her mother, brutally stabbed with a blade.  Angry and hurt, Kit lashes out at Philip and Aden, accusing them of having a hand in the murder, specifically Philip's evil side, though it is clearly not dominant.  In addition, Aden's handkerchief is found at the scene of the crime, leading her to accuse him as well.  Aden convinces Adriana to get her out of the room, leaving him alone with Philip to investigate the crime.  Adriana, meanwhile, takes Kit down to the kitchen.

Alone, Philip and Aden discover an enormous shrine of newsclippings and pictures of Lex's uncle.  Within the shrine is a handwritten letter, addressed to Kit.  Before they can investigate this, however, Philip detects the smell of Adriana's jasmine perfume on Hebuka's body.  Considering her unusual behavior as of late, the two of them decide they need to keep a careful eye on Adriana.  When they go downstairs, they arrive just in time to stop her from killing Kit with a cup of tea that they determine to be poisoned.

Adriana picks up a kitchen knife, pressing it to her own neck.  She reveals herself to be Milady, who has renewed the psychic link between herself and Adriana.  She threatens to destory Adriana's body unless Kit drinks the poisoned tea.  Philip secretly uses his powers to drain the tea cup and hands it to Kit who pretends to drink.  She falls to the floor, taking Aden down with her and giving Philip a clean opportunity to throw a tin, striking Milady on the head.  Kit springs up and with the help of Philip, manages to drive Milady out of Ana's mind.

With everything back to normal, Philip gives Kit the letter left for her in the Sullivan shrine.  She reads it aloud.  It is from Hekuba, who reveals that Kit's father is none other than Lex's uncle, the wealthy socialite.
